Datacenter Engineer

Onitio have close cooperation with several partners, and for one of them we are now looking for two resources who can take on the roll as Datacenter Engineers at our customers site in Ytre Enebakk and in Rjukan. 
  
This is a full-time position, with at duration for 12 months. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Operate and installs computing equipment related to infrastructure including servers, storage, network, Security, and vendor devices.
• Configuration and monitoring of network components
• General technical support, including break-fix for new rack distributions, incident management, DC related tasks etc.
• Handling ongoing changes and troubleshooting of network equipment and associated systems
• Perform operational support, troubleshooting and proactive analysis
• Assists with shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment and hardware.
• Communicates issues or possible risks to management, end users, and infra teams.

• Education in IT/computer technology, preferably with specialization in networks
• Experience from working with data centers and networks, this can make up for a lack of relevant education
• Should be well versed with CAT5,6,7 and Fibers cables connectivity between the device with the same.
• Winpe OS administration and Linux PXE services
• Desirable with CompTIA A+ and ComTIA Server certifications, or equivalent
